Of course, the main purpose of your eyewear is improving your eyesight, but this isn’t the only thing they should do. They are a way to enhance your appearance and to express your personality in a unique way and should also be comfortable too.

We work with small, independent manufactures who are passionate about the quality of their products. This means that you can be assured that extra time and care has been taken with the production of our frames.

It’s important to keep your eyes protected wherever you go which is why we stock high-quality sunglasses that can be glazed with your own prescription. We are also very proud to be Aylesbury’s leading provider of Erin’s World frames.

Contact Lens

As contact lens specialist we know that it’s important that they not only enhance your vision but that they are comfortable too. Through getting to know you and your requirements we can help you find lens that are ideal for you, allowing you to go about your day-to-day life without noticing they are there.

Our experience optometrists will measure your eyesight and conduct tests before advising which lens would be best for you. They will then give you time to digest all of the information and make an informed decision for yourself. If you have had a bad experience in the past our experts can help to alleviate any concerns and restore your confidence.

We are also proud to be the only independent opticians in Aylesbury to offer Ortho-K correction therapy. By wearing special lenses at night whilst they sleep, this therapy allows users to have improved vision during the day without the need for contact lens or glasses.

Children’s Eye Care

Risks and concerns can affect us throughout all stages of life, including childhood. That’s why it’s important to book regular check-ups for your child, approximately every 12 months throughout their school life. This is because they may not be able to tell when an issue starts to develop.

Bad eyesight can subsequently affect your child’s learning, making it difficult to do things such as read the whiteboard at the front of the class or see words in the textbook in front of them.  This can have negative affects such as causing headaches, potentially leading to frustrated and disgruntled behaviour. It can also make them more reliant on their teacher for information that they struggle to see.

By offering your child regular comprehensive eye examinations, we can monitor their eye health and catch any problems as they start to develop. This will allow us to correct their eyesight earlier on which can help prevent further issues developing later in life.

Our Clinics

At Nu-Sight we understand that it’s not just about finding the right glasses for you, it’s about monitoring your eyesight long term. Our regular examinations and scans allow us to observe your eye health and discover any conditions that may develop as early as we can.

Common conditions that develop include macular degeneration and dry eye. The aim of our clinics is to conduct an assessment to investigate the causes of any conditions that may be present. From this information we will then put together a personalised plan to try and improve your condition. We will talk to you throughout this process to keep you informed with all of the details.

We also offer non-medical clinics such as our frame styling consultations. These give you the time you need to try out different colours and shapes to see which suit you best. Our aim is to help you find eyewear that will have you feeling and looking your best.
